DataAssist Wizard - Results Pg - Link To Detail Page Option

DataAssist Wizard - Results Pg - Link To Detail Page Option

When I am run the DataAssist Wizard the first time, on step 4 (results page options) the "link to detail page" option is available to check for any field.

However, if I need to re-run the wizard a second time (of course after deleting the previously generated pages) the "link to detail page" option is grayed-out and NOT available for any fields.

Does anyone have the same problem, or know how to prevent this from happening?

I was not able to reproduce this issue. Have you tried restarting Dreamweaver to see if that fixes the issue?

Restarting DW does not correct the issue.

If I delete all pages generated by the wizard (delete.php, detail.php, insert.php, update.php, search.php, results.php) and then start over with the wizard the "link to detail" checkbox is available.

But if I just remove only one or two pages and try to regenerate the results.php page, the checkbox is grayed-out and not check-able.

I have to wipe-out everything and start over, and that is not very convenient, especially if I spend a lot of time customize the forms with image uploads etc.

Any other ideas why its nots available?

I guess I can always manually add these links as below:
<a href="detail.php?id_artists=<?php echo(rawurlencode($row_WADAartists['id_artists'])); ?>" >Link</a>

Any other solution to get the wizard to work? Anyone else had the same issue.

Thnx.

I tried deleting the MacFileCache-22F0CF35.dat file in the Config folder. Still no success.

Completely uninstalled DataAssist 2.0.6 and reinstalled the extension, and the problem persists.

In step 1 of the wizard, you need to have the detail page selected in order for the link to detail checkbox to be enabled. If the detail page is not selected, then the wizard doesn't know what page to link to, so the link to detail checkbox will be disabled.

That did it!

For the "link to detail page" option to be available, you have to also re-create the detail page.

Thanks. I really appreciate your help.
