Build 013

Build 013

This time I started with a clean slate and it was clear sailing.

In admin - settings - Contact Form:

When you start to enter a Contact Email To, The Invalid format error shows through behind the help tip. This is distracting. If you move the error message over a few spaces, it will be concealed by the tip until it's needed.

About page

It would be nice if the Google map would be automatically skipped if the API key was left blank. One less reason to dive into the code for on-line only shops.

I can't tell how this build is different than the last one. None of the observations have been incorporated. It would be nice to include a list of changes so we know what to look for after spending the time to delete and reinstall.

Hey Office_Guy,

That was a good catch on the error message being visible. It has been logged and should be fixed shortly. Do you mind if i start calling you Hawkeye from now on? Green Arrow also works if you'd prefer.

The difference between this build and 013 was mainly internal bug fixes to ensure PowerStore is as efficient as possible. We utterly appreciate the observations made by you and SOJO web, and we are doing our best to incorporate them as best we can.

When the next build arrives, I'll post a list of major changes for you.

When will the rest of us receive a new beta build? I'm still on 008.

Les, We're sending new builds only to those who have given us valuable feedback in the first stages of the beta period. As we are nearing the end of the beta period, if you have time to commit today to install PowerStore and provide feedback, please send an email to our Project Manager at aluong@webassist.com and let her know. She can provide the latest build.

OG is much easier to write. :)

I spent years writing programs in a semi-hostile environment, so I liked to catch stuff before someone else did. That was back when people got upset because they didn't understand why I got the big bucks for doing nothing more than starring at a terminal. They never missed an opportunity to prove that the company should abandon this computer stuff as it was just a fad. Will see how that plays out. :)

A list of major changes will be much appreciated.
