Editor inserting extra HTML..

Hi, I think I have something wrong with my configuration, can anyone help...

Every page that gets updated has the following around the text in the editor...

<html dir="ltr">
<head>
<title></title>

</head>
<body>

</body>
</html>

What's going on?

Cris.

Not sure, but the place to check first would be the 'Initial value' field in the HTML Editor instance that is doing the updating. Check to see if it originates there.

I'm using php to pre-load the initial value from my database, so it shouldn't be there...

Is there some kind of setting that makes the content of the editor a full HTML page rather than a snippit?

Hi Cris

In your Editor settings window - click the top 'customise' button and in the 'General' tab of the editor settings, uncheck the 'Full page editing' tick box.

You may have checked that when you were setting it up.

Edit: And apologies - this should have been my initial suggestion.

Yes, Neilo is correct, that code is inserted when you select the Full Page Editing option.
