I want menu to behave like the "START" menu in Win XP (classic)

Hello, This is my first post on these forums. I am a new user of the CSS menu writer and am very please so far.

What I would like it to do, is behave like the classic start menu in windows XP. Meaning I can hover over a button, have it expand, then hover "outside" the expanded menu item (not on the menu) and the menu item will stay open. Then continue back over the item and click or move to another sub item etc...

I hope that made sense! :)

I am sure this has been asked before, but thought I would "cut to the chase" and see if I can get a quick answer.

Thanks
Angelo J

You will not be able to accomplish this with CSS Menu Writer.

CSS Menu Writer uses the a:hover css attribute to display the sub menus, it is not possible to maintain the a:hover state when you are no longer hovering over the item in CSS.

Hrmm ok then how about this...

Is there a work around for this issue? I searched and found theres no delay option either. Is there a trick with padding or something I can try?

BTW, thx for the ultra quick response! Very impressed!

No, css does not have a way of implementing a delay, it would need to be done using Javascript.

This is not supported in CSS menu writer.
