Send email on insert

When I insert a record, I receive an email but the field data isn't there. The content of the email message is:

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
[and some more stuff]
Your Email Title Goes Here
email subtitle area or directions can go here, below the title

Do I need to insert fields into the email template? I'm lost.

Attached is the insert page.

Or even if someone could tell me why a bunch of mail header info is appearing in the email, that would help.

I can't see an attachment on the message - could you resend? You generally need to add your own email content into which you can add info from the page where the email behavior is. I never use the WebAssist templates, I always build my own email which is just a standard PHP page that you then link to the send email behavior. If you can send the page with the insert behavior, I can help you build an email for it.

Thanks! Yes, I was in a hurry so I built my own. (It'd been so long since I used those mail templates that I'd forgotten about the need to insert a recordset, etc.) I'm thinking now that the mail headers showing up in the email body might be a corrupted phpmailer file. I'll look into it.

Thanks again!
