Placing an product description into a session

I have a php page populated with product descriptions fed from a recordset.
The descriptions are displayed in a repeating table, created using WADA

When a visitor clicks on a description link, the detail page opens and populates with the description detail of the selected item.

I'd like that description (not the detail) saved as a session, so I can place it in the item description filed of a booking form I have installed (not using any WA products) on a different page.

Advice welcome on how I might achieve this.

Thanks, Paul.

The details should be coming out of a recordset correct?

Add the eCart Set Session Value server Behavior, Insert -> WebAssist -> eCart -> General -> Set Session Value. set the trigger to Recordset is not empty. for the value, click the lightning bolt and select the Description column from the recordset.

After the Set Session Value code is added to the page, you may need to move the code to make sure it is after the recordset code.

Jason,

Thanks for the tip.
I have tried this but the session fails to appear on my target page

Below is url to my data page where the treatments are populated from the recordset and displayed under the service portfolio - they are all hyperlinked to detail page

http://www.victorias-massage.co.uk/treatments.php

The result should be displayed in the right hand column in the detail page under 'Other Information'

Any ideas?

Thank you,

Is the set session value behavior on the treatment_detail.php?

I would need to see a copy of this page to be able to see what may be wrong.
