Name and extension please

I created a form with DataAssist and converted a text field to a fiel field (did not find an option to spesify the file type in teh DA wizzard). Then I applyed teh DFPextention to the field and uploads the file selected corrrectly. The problemis that in teh dsatbase the the file nam is recored without the extention!

How do I get the insert to record the file name including the extension? i.e. image.jpg

Thanks

Nick

When binding the database column to the file name, expand the Uploaded Files group and select the server File name variable.

Still a problem

If you go to images_Insert.php it's only inserting the file anme and no extension. Also when I converted a text field to a list it broke the stypes and displays text instead of buttons.

please send a copy of your images_Insert.php page so I can look at the code.

I do not see a problem with the styles on your page, It is displaying the buttons for me just fine.

In the Upload File Server behavior, change the File Name setting from using the server File back to the default "[FileName]"

In the Insert Record Server Name, bind the filename_img column to the WA Uploaded Files -> Server File Name.

Same problem, I had this before. Try uploading an image to see the detail.

In the Insert Record behavior, you not bound the filename_img column to the WA Uploaded Files -> Server File Name.

Select the filename_img column and click the Lightning bolt next to Value. Expand the WA Uploaded Files binding group and select the server file name variable.

Works

Thanks that worked, when using DA why isn't file field one of the field options?
