what details should i be using where?

Right now this is what i have done

I found this information for the vendor when looking through the documentation:

Your merchant login ID that you created when you
registered for the Website Payments Pro account.
The examples in this document use
VENDOR=SuperMerchant.
Limitations: This value is case-sensitive.

So it seems that this is a value that you create when setting up your Payments Pro account. For the username and password I believe these would be your regular PayPal login credentials.

I figured it out...

Payments Pro UK API credentials i was trying to use, where as the form was asking for payflo credentials...

Solved by using paypro us, and works fine with UK account...

Even when putting payflo credentials in, i get an error that the credentials are incorrect.

But, works with the api, so no issue now, thanks...

I'm glad to hear that you got it working with the Payments Pro credentials. When you were putting the Payflo Pro credentials and getting an error were you putting in values from another account or the same account but different details?

I used credentials from the same account.

Its strange, as i have set up a new payflo credential, as you can add as many as you like by the looks of it, and still not working.

I am going to install the plugin for oscommerce to see if it works with that as all credentials look right,

If you are still having trouble with the checkout I can open a ticket for you so we can exchange some details and do some testing. Let me know if you cannot get the credentials working.

Credentials not working with OSCommerce either, have downloaded the pdf for payments pro payflo and tried to connect myself, but no luck, so have raised issue with paypal as there must be a reason i cant get the credentials to work.

You should make sure to login to your account and check if there is some sort of billing or services agreement that needs to be confirmed so that the account is valid. I have seen this problem in the past with PayPal and the accounts.
