error when previewing dynamic pages

I entered add to cart buttons in music.php and gear.php and everything seemed to go great until I tried to preview with localhost.
I get following error msgs. I noticed that record set had a exclamation (!) mark in front of it.

Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in C:\wamp\www\htdocs\wwwroot\eCart_4\dynamic\store_dynamic_sp_php\Connections\connBSM.php on line 9

Fatal error: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in C:\wamp\www\htdocs\wwwroot\eCart_4\dynamic\store_dynamic_sp_php\Connections\connBSM.php on line 9

LINE 9 READS:
$connBSM = mysql_pconnect($hostname_connBSM, $username_connBSM, $password_connBSM) or trigger_error(mysql_error(),E_USER_ERROR);

This error message is telling you that the details inside of the connection file are not correct for your database. You will need to go to the database tab of the application panel and edit the connection. In here you will need to enter your username and password to access your db. Once the correct info is entered here you should be able to establish a connection to the db and preview the pages.

Error Message still the same

I made sure the password and user name for db are correct .. Everything to me looks ok. but remember I am not an expert with php mysql connections.
I still get the same message even tho I changed it.
I tested connection and it was ok. If connection works why doesn't work for when used on music and gear sheets?

Are you testing this locally or remotely? If you are testing remotely then you must ensure that the username and password you are entering are correct for the remote db. If you can test the db connection in DW then it seems that you should be ok.

As a test you can create a new php page and add a recordset to the page. After adding in this recordset go into the bindings tab and add some of the values from the recordset to the page then preview it. This will help to determine if it is just the pages that are having the problem or if there is a problem with the entire site. Let us know if you continue to have this issue and I can open a ticket for you to look into it further.

There is something wrong with recordset and

I dont know how to fix. When I go to server behaviors in Gear.php the following shows up. Recordset reads (rsItems) with a ( ! ) mark in front of Recordset.
I made a new sheet for testing and entered a add to cart button and it worked in testing page.

Here is the results of the new php sheet vs gear.php

Here is the server behaviors I have in

newTest.php.

eCart Object (BlueSkyCart)
Recordset (rsitems)
Dynamic Text Field (BlueSkyCart-1-ID-Add)
eCart Add From Recordset (BlueSkyCart,

rsite....
This works

the one that doesn't work reads......
! Recordset (rsItems)
Repeat Region (rsItems)
Dynamic Attribute (a.href, $row_rsItems

["Item....
Dynamic Attribute (img.src, $row_rsItems

["Ite...........
etc etc
There are 5 more lines on this Behavior

I'm not sure what the problem with the recordset is so I have opened a ticket for you on this issue. To update the ticket please login to WebAssist.com and visit your support history.
