My question now is I've created some items for my store in the database admin, how do I link them to my menu for viewing? Does this have to be a dynamic link?

When you add a product in the admin section, it will automatically be added to the navigation as long as you check the Available Online check box.

Actually that was not the case at all, I had to create a dynamic menu link to get access to my database. That works. Now my question is how do I sort the categories? If I want a certain order do I have to go in the database and move the files around how I want them to stack?

You can add on Order By Clause to your recordset to order them alphabetically by name. Other wise, you need to add the categories to the database in the order they should appear.
