DFP will not download files from recordset

Hi folks,

DFP has started acting strangely. Up until today it was working fine but now it either downloads a zero-byte file in the case of a .zip or tries to download the php page in the case of the PDF.

What's going on?

Have you made any changes to the page? Are there any changes made to your hosting server?

I have not made any changes to anything recently.

Upon further testing, it works if I hardcode a file. It fails on a dynamic file if the file name contains additional path info (e.g. the file is located in a subfolder from what is defined in DFP). However, we've had file paths in this from the beginning with no issues so I don't know why it's decided to start dying now.

More testing:

Hardcoding the file name works.

Downloading file from recordset does not work with or without subfolders. It seems like 2.02 just stops the download from the recordset from working, period.

Finally, is there a limit on how large a file can be in order for the script to read it?

If you have not changed anything, this shouldn't occur. Are you using a hosting company to host your site? They may have changed something on their server.

There shouldn't be a limit on how large a file is as far as downloading with DFP.

Did you recently upgrade to 2.0.2?

Jamaica wordings

Yes, recent upgrade to 2.02.

I tried to remove the Extension, restart the machine, downgrade to 1.13, and reapply but I keep getting a javascript error in CS4. So I reinstalled 2.02

Yes, I am at a hosting company but this is a dedicated box and they normally will not touch it (I'm responsible for it). I suppose that they could have changed something on the box anyway but it would be very unlike them to do so.

If it helps you to see the behavior:

http colon slash slash aetonline.org slash store slash download.php?article=ecqp2683
The above should resolve to a PDF in a subfolder. Instead, it tries to download download.php

http colon slash slash aetonline.org slash store slash download.php?article=wntyxxx4
The above should download a (large) zip file. It creates a zero or 1-byte zip instead

http colon slash slash aetonline.org slash downloadnow.php
This is a hardcoded MP3 file. Works fine

Okay, update.

Totally destroyed the download.php page and rebuilt it from the ground up. This appears to have solved the PDF issues, as those files are now downloading normally.

The only remaining issue is why I can't download the zip files? The script appears to be working, as a file downloads, but it's a zero or 1 byte file only.

Can you link me to the page where this is happening?
