using SAP wizard & get javascript error

Hi+
I'm receiving the following messages when I work on step 2 of 5 of the SAP wizard:

message 1) "while executing timer wasap_wizard, a javascript error occurred."

message 2) "while executing onChange in wasap_wizard.htm, a javascript error occurred."

Note: in both instances it does not state what exactly that javascript error is. (I just get the 'ok' button.)

Ive read that the cache file needs to be deleted. I just installed SAP last night & didn't have any problems working w/the wizard, nor this morning - just suddenly got these errors. Do I need to delete the cache file (and restart the CPU) or do something else?

Thank you for your guidance!

If doing a simple restart of your machine does not do the trick then you may need to delete this cache file to make use of the tool. Here is a link to the instructions for this:

common_installation_issues.pdf

If you do this and still have the problem you should try deleting this file again and restarting your machine before trying to use the tool after this.

If the problem does not go away it may be due to some corruption of your configuration folder, here is a link to a post with the steps you can take to rename this folder if this is the problem:

Thank you for the info & links. I did have to go all the way & remove the 6 WA extensions I had on DW & reinstall them. That seems to have fixed the problem. Question: does this happen often & will I have to remove EVERY extension EVERY time? Or can I just remove the SiteAssist Professional extension? Will I have to rename the configuration folder each time? If I don't remove EVERY extension will renaming the folder cause a mess up w/the ones I didn't remove? Thank you.

This issue should not happen often but when it does you will need to rename the configuration folder and remove all the installed extensions. If you do not remove all of the installed extensions after renaming the configuration folder you will cause the bad config to be recreated and have the problem still.

Thank you. I will remember that & pray it doesn't happen again!
