Dreamweaver spry horizontal menu bar and rtl language in IE7 + 8

I am building a multilingual website in English and Arabic. However, when i duplicate my english template and change the language to arabic using this line:

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" dir="rtl" lang="ae">

The spry menu bar that I've used from Dreamweaver CS3 seems to corrupt the page in Internet Explorer 7 and 8. The arabic page looks absolutely fine in Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

Has anybody come across this problem before?

The website i'm working on can be seen here:

arabic - Untitled-1

english - about

Thanks for you help - much appreciated.

I dont really see any major difference when browsing either of these pages in IE8 + 7, the only real difference I see is the "Forbes Associates" logos changing which side of the page they are on, the menus look pretty much identical for me on both pages.
