Update Database with user name
I need to capture who updated what a record. I'm unable to update the database with my attached page. Could someone tell me what is wrong?

your form does not have a method attribute:
<form name="form1" id="form1">
so the default GET method is being used.
DataAssist is set to get the values from the POST collection. change the forms top the POST method instead of using the get method:
<form name="form1" id="form1" method="post" >
I did what you suggested and it will not update. It is pulling back the correct information (see screen shot) and I even put in a redirect URL to see if it at least running through the query, and it does redirect fine. I'm stumped. I need the user to click on a renew button, which is on another page, call up this page, process the renewal and then I will have redirect to take them back to their starting point.
In the update record behavior, you have set the Key Column Value to use the Member_ID session variable, are you sure this session has a value? try setting it to use the ID text box from the form instead.
I did as you suggested, but I was still having trouble. I started over from scratch. I used the DataAssist wizard to create an Update page. That updated all fields as long as I pushed the Submit button. No matter what trigger I selected, I could not get the update query to execute without pressing the submit button. I went through all the drop down triggers the GUI offers, to no avail.
I finally gave up on the GUI and created my own page. See attached. That works. If I remember right, I've never been able to get any of the triggers to work on the update pages created by the GUI. Many of the features I build into my application are not meant for user interaction. Having a trigger that runs the query on page load or if recordset is not empty would make my life easier. I'm willing to work with someone to see what it is that I may not be doing correctly, but for now I had a need to press on and resolve an issue our club was having.
The page you have sent is not a compete page. It does not include the Update server behavior.
It is impossible to tell what is going wrong without seeing the code that has the problem.
When using the recordset not empty trigger, you need to remember that the variables needed to populate the form must be passed along when the form submits. I see your recordset is filtered on a few querystring variables,you need to pass these along again when the form submits.
