Ongoing issues with Rules Manager

Ongoing issues with Rules Manager

I had an issue previously, when trying to use the "Show Region" behavior, that required me to manually update the HelperGroupsRulesPHP.php file, in the Security Assist folder.

Now, I am trying to apply the Register/Login functionality to my checkout process.

When I create the new rule "Checkout rule", then close the Rules Manager, the new rule is not saved.

Why are my new rules/revised rules not being saved to the Rules Manager? Any idea what I can do to fix this issue?

Thanks!

How are you creating the new rule? When you are in the rules interface are you using the keyboard to make or confirm any selections? If so please try to use only the mouse to confirm your selections to see if it helps.

Also, what is the version of Security Assist that you have installed and what is the DW and OS versions you are working with? I will use this info to check into this further with you, if need be we can open a ticket on this issue to exchange any further details.

I have tried both keyboard strokes, as well as using only the mouse. In general, both Security Assist and Data Assist both need a double-click (tab key doesn't work) to get the changes to take.

I JUST purchased Security Assist, and I'm using the following WA components on my site:

SA - 1.1.8
DA - 2.0.6
eCart - 4.5.2

Dreamweaver CS4 (version 10.0, build 4117)

Mac OSX 10.5.8
Proc - 2.4 GHz
Mem - 4GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
HDD - 140 GB, 19 GB free

Thanks for posting back with the details. I have opened a ticket for you on this so we can exchange some files. To update the ticket or check it's status please login to webassist.com and visit your support history.

Also, as one other thing to try have you deleted the cache file? If not please see the instructions here on how to do this, let us know what you experience.
