eCart Not Passing Checkout Data to Database

eCart Not Passing Checkout Data to Database

I am currently using eCart 4.16 in ASP.

When testing the cart and associated processes, all of the pages display as they are supposed to, but will not pass the order information to an Access database.

I have tried everything I can to bind the checkout page to the database, but nothing seems to work.

I have used the PayPal Website Payments Pro, and then removed all PayPal references.

Additionally, the confirm page will not send an email.

I get no errors, and when I reach the success page, everything looks normal.

How are you getting to the success page? It should be in the redirect of the server behavior that sends the email and the form action of the checkout page should point to the checkout page with the email and store cart summary server behaviors applied.

eCart Not Passing Checkout Data to Database

We would like to thank Ray last time for helping us resolving our email receipt issue last time. Now, we are experiencing another issue and we need your help.

We have ecart store with php and Payflow pro gateway. We don't get errors when we reach the success page, but data are not passed to the database. Everything looks normal. The transaction went through successfully, we got the email receipt and success page but no data in the database. The database is MySql and we tested the insert data from another form into this database and it is working but ecart is not passing the data. Can you help us with this issue please?

Thank you,

Eleni

Maybe a redirect in the emial code that takes you off the page before the database information is stored.

Most likely that is the issue. Make sure the redirect field is blank for any email, or other server behaviors besides the local checkout, or the last server behavior on the page.

eCart Not Passing Checkout Data to Database

I have tried to apply the insert data on the cart.php, checkout.php and confirm.php page, but the data are not passed to the database. Like you said, I have left the redirect field blank but did not work. Please let us know.
