Remote Problem

Sorry that I am new to this forum.

My problem is when I create registration/login page and restrict page via the SecurityAssist Wizard, it just create the files on my local drive, not on Remote server where my website are sitting.

Is there a way to do this?

Thank you

If I'm understanding you correctly, no, you can't create your pages on the remote server. You have to create them on your computer and then upload them (via FTP) to your remote server. You can either do this in DreamWeaver or use a third party application like cuteFTP (there are many others).

However, as I say, DreamWeaver comes with FTP facilities. The last part of this tutorial tells you how to set up your site definition to accommodate ftp.

Tutorial

Thank you for the quick response!

Can I just use the Insert function rather than using the Wizard to insert the function into the file that are open from Remote Server folder?

Also is there any tutorial how to set up registration page, login and MySQL as I know how to do it but the way my table was created with "y", "n" beside priv_admin which are administration privilege that myself is allow to access to administration page only.

Sorry if this was repeat previous post but would like some help with my issue

Mysql

When I try to import blue_sky_music in to my phpmyadmin it came an error, I just want to know what that database looks like. As I am following the SecurityAssist_UserlevelAuth.pdf.

Is there screen shot of what that data file look like?

It's a long time since I used the Blue Sky tutorials so I'm afraid that I haven't, personally, got any images to help you.

I wonder if you have discovered the plethora of tutorials / information about SecurityAssist which can be found here. It's all worth a read and may just answer your questions for you.

As far as I am aware you cannot add any behaviours to your files while they reside on your remote server. You have to download them, carry out your work and then upload them again.
