HTML Editor and CSS

After trying to change the "styles" in HtmlEditor, the page where the editor is only shows "Red Title" as styles instead of the styles in the stylesheet I tried to connect.

Styles

Hi,

There is info on this in the Editors manual, under the Style Tab.

Explains how to add styles to the editor.

Enjoy

Could you explain how you went about adding to the styles drop down menu.

You should be able to add by clicking the Customize button from the Quick Insert and then Click on the Styles tab where you can browse to your style sheets and select which class to add to the styles drop down.

how do i remove "Red Title" from my styles list? i would prefer to just alter my styles.xml file, but it is not in there. is it someplace else i can remove it w/o having to go back into the wizard? whenever i go back into the wizard, i get all kinds of strange anomolies that take me a long time to fix.

To Remove the Red Title class from the Styles drop down, open the fckconfig.js file which is located under the HTMLEditor folder and replace this code:

FCKConfig.CustomStyles =
{
'Red Title' : { Element : 'h3', Styles : { 'color' : 'Red' } }
};

with

FCKConfig.CustomStyles =
{
};

In regard to your second question, you will need to reenter the wizard and select your css file in order for the editor to create your styles xml file.

If you are having issuing reentering the wizard then you will need to create the styles xml file manually and also edit the js file under your custom folder to reference your css and xml file.
