Error when going to results page...

Hello,

I have followed the instructions for the extension and installed the search on the home page of www.bozemanfigureskating.org on the left side panel. However, when I put something into the text box and click Submit, I get the following error, and no search results:

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: simplexmlelement in /homepages/13/d284714075/htdocs/bfsc/search_results.php on line 32

Please help! -- It is really a problem to be testing this on the live site!

Found out that the function requires PHP5. By default my 1and1.com domain uses PHP4. So I changed the extension to PHP5 and that solved the problem.

Error Message

So this means that Search BOSS does not work with php 4.x?

Need to know because my server will be set to 4.x for some time to come!

Nick,

My server (on 1and1.com) defaults to PHP4, but found that renaming it to PHP5 would default then to the newer version. Don't know if that helps you though.

PHP 5 did the trick

If I want to use the search functions I may need to move to a different server.
