Database data in email not form data in email

Database data in email not form data in email

When I am sending an email from my form the same data has been sent. After days of this happening and trying to figure it out I found that it has been sending the first record from the database over and over again, but not the actual information from the email that I am sending.

The information from the 3email is getting into the database fine...

I am aware of part of the solution...I need to have the form field data inserted into the email, but where do I put that info so that it is inserted into the email?

Is it in the code of the UE .php document or is it embedded in the actual form page?

To get the form info in the email message you will need to edit the Universal Email server behavior that you have applied to the page. In the server behavior go to the body tab and edit it in DW. To get the info from your form in the body you can just go to the bindings tab of the application panel and expand the form, then drag and drop the bindings into your email message where you want to see those values.

If you want to get the info back out of the db and put in the email then you will need to edit the body and add a recordset to the page that will select the just inserted record from the db. If you are inserting the record with a DataAssist Insert then you should have the id for the record stored in a session variable. You can use this value to filter the recordset.

If you do not have this session variable available then you will need to filter the recordset another way, you can use some of the info from the form itself to filter the recordset.
