Drop down lists with multiple choice option

I have a page with a drop down list with multiple options. The list is populated from a recordset.

When using UE 3.0.7 and putting the drop down list on the plain text option, the email sends only the last choice.
Is there something i can do to make UE send all choices made on the drop down list?

thanks for your help,
Jim Balthrop

first, for a multiple select list to send all options, the name of the list needs to have "[]" at the end:

html:
<select name="myList[]" size="3" multiple id="myList">
<option value="1">One</option>
<option value="2">Two</option>
<option value="3">Three</option>
<option value="4">Four</option>
<option value="5">Five</option>
</select>

this will send all of the selections as an array, you need to use the impload() function to convert the array to a comma separated list:

php:
<?php echo((isset($_POST["myList"]))?implode(", ",$_POST["myList"]):""?>

Jason,

THANKS SO MUCH.

I think you have showed me this at some point before, but I had forgotten it.

Worked perfectly.

thanks again Web Assist,
