cart not showing initial shipping

Thread began 12/12/2009 11:16 am by tim.wolak331163 | Last modified 12/14/2009 1:07 pm by Jason Byrnes | 551 views | 1 replies |

cart not showing initial shipping

I have my cart set to show shipping however when a user adds items to their cart there is no shipping cost showing, I believe this is causing an issue for some customers. The shipping charges are correct on the conformation page however I would like some base shipping to appear in the cart so the user can get a basic idea of charges. Can you tell me where the issue may be.

My cart is at bnb-cart.php

Thanks in advance,

It really depends on how you are calculating shipping.

If you are using UPS or one of the other rate look up services, you really cant calculate shipping until the user enters their zip code on the checkout page.
