You have started at least three differant threads on this issue. Instead of starting new threads, please keep it to one thrread, this will help us give you better support.
By keeping the entire conversation contained in one thread, we can keep better track of previous advice.
from previous threads, I've pointed you to the ecart tutorial for troubleshooting checkout failures. What are the results you are getting from that?
can you post the full response that is returned? Are you getting the full response? if not, make sure you are using the correct bindings.
Are are you testing using express checkout? If so, there are two sets of bindings to use: "PayPal Authorize Express Checkout" and "PayPal process Express Checkout"
If you testing using Direct Payments, you need to use the Paypal Direc t payment bindings.
Sorry about all the threads never did this before. The checkout button on my checkout page doesn't go to the confirm.php page anymore I don't know what I did..
double check the form action for the checkout form, make sure the action is set to post to confirm.php.
I looked in the html code and it seems to be correct I guess <form name="ecart_checkout_form" action="confirm.php" method="post">. I reran the checkout wizard and it generated a new checkout.php, confirm.php, checkout_failure.php and checkout_success.php and thats it not any new pp_ pages. So it is still doing the samething when u click checkout it goes to the paypal login page. What do I check next? I noticed that for the paypal Express there are server behaviors should server behaviors for the direct payment also when I open the paypal express checkout authentication window the field says trigger: and it is set to current page submit. Also should there be any php in the top of the page of the checkout.php telling the checkout button what to do like the cart.php has I see there code the paypal what to do?
It sounds like there is some Express checkout code on the Confirm Pager that should not be there.
Open the confirm page, and go to the Server behaviors List. If there are any express checkout server behaviors listed, remove them.
The checkout page has 2 checkout buttons. The checkout with Paypal express button, and the checkout button to submit the checkout form to the confirm page. There should be code at the head of the checkout page that is triggered by the express checkout button.
I did the Full Request and Full Response and this what I got.

The error you are getting:
Security error Security header is not valid
means there is a problem with your API credentials.
You may be using live API credentials but configured eCart to use the Sand Box, or vice versa.
Perhaps you have not excepted the billing agreement.
gets confirm page refreshes with an error message at the top of the page saying.

This is an error that was present in old version of eCart and Universal Email. You should not get this error if you are using the currant version of eCart and Universal Email.
To fix the error, double click the Universal Email server behavior on the confirm page. On the general tab, make sure a character set is selected, then click OK.
