Please matter is most urgent, if I dont get solutions, it will take two more days as today is Friday.

Please help,

Thanks

Here it is code
"

FROM (Category LEFT JOIN Product ON Product.Product_cat=Category.categoryID)
WHERE Product_cat = 'colname'"

is colname a parameter in the Recordset?

If so it does not need to be surrounded in quotes, when configuring the parameter, set the data type to text.

also the perenthises around the join are not needed:
FROM (Category LEFT JOIN Product ON Product.Product_cat=Category.categoryID)

can be:
FROM Category LEFT JOIN Product ON Product.Product_cat=Category.categoryID

If all else fails, remove the where clause, insert the add to cart button, then add the where clause back in.

eCart working when I use where clause with enter value but not with URL Parameter

Thanks for your reply, let me explain, what is exact happening, when I use ecart with recorded(where cluase with entered value), add-to-cart works fine, code is below

SELECT *
FROM Product
WHERE Product_cat = '1'

But, my client wants to add category dynamically as master page, and product as detail page, (so, that he can add category with web developer) for this I joined two tables say table_category and table_product, and written following code

SELECT *
FROM Product
WHERE Product_cat = 'colname'

Name is colname , default value 1 and run time value $_GET['id']

recordset works fine, but when I try to add add-to-cart button, extension throws error

If this error dont get solve, believe me I need to work for every page (Physical page)

Hope you understand, and solve this issue

Thanks

If you want I will provide url (email to you, I dont want my client url in forum)

you should not have quotes around the parameter in the where clause:
WHERE Product_cat = 'colname'

should be:
WHERE Product_cat = 'colname'
