Runtime error using Dynamic Web Charts

Hi there

I'm using this particular product for the first time and have tried a simple chart but after completing the dialog and clicking OK it does it's stuff and then hits me with a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error:

Runtime Error!
Program: C...
R6025
- pure virtual function call

Help!

Many thanks

Jon

Runtime Error R6025

When trying to run the Dynamic Web Charts Editor, I input the information and when I click the OK button, I get Runtime Error! Program C:\Prog... R6025 - pure virtual function call error.
Dreamweaver locks up and has to be restarted. I've tried several times with the same result. I'm using Dreamweaver CS4, Vista 64bit using PHP to connect to MySQL
Any help is appreciated.

What version of the extension are you using? Do you have any virus scan, firewall or security software running?

Have you tried the steps outlined in the common installation issues?

I'm using version 1.0.4, I do have virus scan, but already thought of that and disabled it and had the same failure code. I have looked at the technotes...issues.pdf and even tried to remove and reinstall. It doesn't complain during the install, only when I actually try to use the software within dreamweaver. From reading this thread, it looks I am having the exact same issue that jon211112 was having. It mentions a trouble ticket being opened for him, I'm curious what was the solution from that ticket? Could be my problem too

The user never responded to the backend ticket. It appears that the issue just went away for them. There were some other users that had the same issue on another product and the issue just went away after restarting or deleting the configuration.

I did another uninstall/reinstall of the extension and did manage to get the chart to work only when working with static data. (Something I didn't try yesterday). I still have the same issue when working with dynamic data. I'm not sure what you mean by "restarting or deleting the configuration". Does that mean to uninstall/reinstall the extension? If so, I'm going on 3 times doing that.
Do we need to open up a ticket?
