menu appears as text

Menue appears as text. The page is in a sub directory so all my links to graphics, js, etc. start with ../ When I look at the page in live view the menu looks great. When I view in browser I get only the text. I am also using a seperate js menu on the page, a date script that both are working fine. Tried moving the page to the root and removed the ../ from the paths and that did not work. same results. any ideas?

It appears properly in Fire Fox.

The reason it does not show in internet explorer is that your age is missing the doctype tag.

Without a doctype tag, IE renders the page in quirks mode. Quirks mode uses the IE 5.5 rendering engine which causes the CSS to break.

Add the following to line 1 of you page to tell IE how to render the page properly:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
