Can't Install

Can't Install

I can't even get this to install - so far it is hanging up on step 4 - Watermark. I have given the entire gallery folder the permissions of 777 as well as the connections folder, but nothing. If I skip watermarking and go to install images and point it to the images folder - same thing...just says error.

Can you check if you PHP is running in safe mode? If so, try turning that off and installing again.

Won't Install

How do you do that? I haven't had any other problems installing programs that use MySQL and PHP - all my control panel says is: PHP 5.2.2 how do I see if it is in safe mode?

Make a php page and put <?php phpinfo(); ?> in it. View that page in a browser and you can check the safe mode setting.

What is the exact error message you are getting on each of the steps you mentioned?

Under the Add Watermark Title - is just the big red word "ERROR" - If I try to skip the step (which I don't want to do) and go to install images and go to my images folder - I get the same big red "ERROR" under Import Images
