The problem in the menu is occurring because you have not set a height or width for either the main menu items or the sub level items. For the menu to function properly in IE, you must specify a height and width using a pixel measurement for the menu. This is a limitation in IE, it will display items properly if a height or width are not set.

Jason:
I will set the heights but does that solve the fact that the rollover drop downs do not work in IE7?

Yes, the roll over dropdowns are not working because they do not have a height and width attribute for the main and sublevel navigation buttons.
