Upload files (for download links)

Hi- I need to enable the cms user to be able to create links of his page to download files (like a word doc). What is the correct way to accomplish this? I don't see an "upload" button other than from within the image button or the link button. On the link button I did go through it and choose the file and upload it, but if it did upload the file then the link it created to it was not correct, as it does not work. Are there upload path setting that fix this?

there should be a Insert/Edit Link button on the tool bar of iRite which you could use to insert links. Basically click the Insert/Edit link and then click the Upload button, browse to your file, send it to server and then click ok and a link should be created for that file.
