Validation show if

I have the new Form builder, however, I wish to apply a 'validation show if' error message to a form field not built by the form builder. I had previously been able to use validation toolkit. Now I get an error
" Server behaviou was not applied. Could not find a valid XML file.............."

How am I supposed to add the code????

Could you attach the page that you are trying to apply the Show IF server Behavior to.

I ran a quick test and i was able to add the Show If Server Behavior to a form element not generated to by CSS Form Builder.

You can just replace "please enter your name" with the code above.
