Extension Library and Powergallery

There doesn't seem to be a way of downloading Powergallery through my extension library membership - all the material makes it look very much like this product is available to extension library subscribes - what's the story with this?

Please say it's included...

" Becoming a member of the Extension Library membership program gets you access to
every extension we've ever made. $1,800 in software for $20 a month. Each new release is available the second it is launched in the download center of all extension library members!"

PowerGallery is a stand alone PHP based solution which is not included with the Extension Library subscription. The subscription includes all Dreamweaver extensions that we have available. Please refer to the FAQ for the extension library which covers some common questions.

thanks...

Thanks for the swift response - I suspect then that the wrong text was sent out with the email, it very much gives the impression that this is included in the library - are there any plans to extend the subscription to cover all of your products - obviously this would cost more, but I'd be the first to sign up...

Check out the extension library page on our site and there are several FAQ listed including regarding solution packs. I don't really have any details other than what this page provides.

The email I received had an ad about the library being on sale at the bottom of the email, but didn't look like it was part of the main ad.

disapointed

Well, I also assumed that this gallery was included in the Library. Isn't Powerstore included in your library, (or did I purchase it separately)?

You must have purchased PowerStore. All solutions are separate from the extension library.

Have to agree with those who are saying that the ad could lead one to believe that the Power Gallery is part of the Subscription Library. I too think it is dreadfully misleading - especially to one who is not too clear about WebAssist exxtensions v. solutions.

Perhaps some of us are getting different emails. This is the blurb from the one I received (note the info per/heading):

  POWER GALLERY

5 Gallery Types

Becoming a member of the Extension Library membership program gets you access to
every extension we've ever made. $1,800 in software for $20 a month.

Simple Install Wizard

Get exclusive webpage templates and interactive trainings that will help you become a more efficient and successful web developer.

Easy Image Uploads

Each new release is available the second it is launched in the download center of all extension library members!

Admin Section

Whenever a product update is released members can access their updated extension automatically through the download center!

I also attach a screen capture.

I think that anyone who subscribed to the library as a result of this promotion would be fully justified in demanding that the Power Gallery be included.

I expect it may have been the result of a graphic designer placing copy out of context, but I assume that the sales department rubber -tamps the proofs before publication!

Are you saying officially, then, that people reading the promo emails are mugs to take the promotional material at face value and should, as a matter of course, go in search of the small print?

When I initially responded to this post, I hadn't seen the marketing email yet, so thanks for bringing it to my attention. I have confirmed the policy remains the same and solution packs, including PowerGallery, are not part of the extension library subscription. The issue with the email some of you have received has been addressed and will be corrected.

To clarify some things about PowerGallery, here is some info about the 4 bullet points from the email.

5 Gallery Types
PowerGallery includes 5 stunning image gallery designs, with both dark and light themes, giving you a variety of options for your website gallery - even add your own custom text watermark.

Simple Install Wizard
Simply upload PowerGallery’s files to your server, and open your browser to launch the Installation Wizard to configure your PHP photo gallery.

Easy Image Uploads
Upload single images via you web browser or upload multiple images from your server. Your images will be processed and automatically resized/watermarked to work with your image galleries.

Admin Section
Easily create and make changes to your image gallery – add a new gallery, upload and manage images, modify titles and descriptions, and quickly change designs.

Multiple Image Galleries
With PowerGallery you can set up and manage as many image galleries as you desire - display any number of your galleries in various locations throughout your site with ease.
