I am not receiving any email from UE

I am not receiving any email from UE

I am not receiving any email from a form on a site I am developing. I have used the same hosting services before and had no problem setting up functional email forms via Universal Email. I have been going through and error checking numerous times and have found nothing to disrupt the email functionality.

I checked my POP3 to make sure spam filters were not blocking messages sent from the site.

I have repeatedly back tracked my steps to make sure I had no typos with email server info on UE's UI.

I have successfully sent emails via UE from the same web hosting service from other domains.

I am not sure what I am missing, is there a limit on characters in the SMTP name UE can handle? Currently, the least amount I can use in the SMTP name is 26 characters because of the very long DN I have to deal with. I really don't know what's wrong. I had no problem with TFMail in previous mailer forms on this site; however, I opted for Universal Email when asked to switch code from Perl to PHP.

If anyone has advice I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for your time in advance.
Phil

Have you tried leaving the SMTP & Port fields blank, allowing server default?

No Luck

Yes, I tried leaving the SMTP field and return path (and every combination in between) blank; unfortunately, it didn't help.

Who are your hosting providers? You may need to ask them for their mail server configuration.

People seem to be reporting problems with the latest incarnation of Network Solutions, and are recommending using the Pear Mail mudule.

If you provide the WA Guys with your hosting providers, and perhaps attach a zip of your WAUE_xxxxxx.php page, someone will be able to provide further help.

Can you send a copy of the contact page?

Things to double check:
1) Make sure the Forms Action is set to post to itself.

2) make sure the forms method is to post.

3) If there are other server behaviors on the page, make sure they do not redirect to another page before the Universal Email server behavior can send the email.

Contact page

Attached is the code to the contact page. The live page URL is ContactUS.php.

I didn't see any flaws regarding the 1-3 steps you listed. If you need anything else, please let me know.
Thanks

the smtp server address you are entering is not valid:
greetings.hydrangeaheavennorth.com

if i open a dos command prompt and type:
telnet greetings.hydrangeaheavennorth.com 25

i get an error that the server cannot be connected.

double check with your host to determine:
1) Do they support sending email using the PHP mail script

2) What is the mail server address

3) Do they have a sample mail script we can examine, this may provide clues to the correct settings for Universal Email.

Thanks for the help!

I still don't know what is wrong regarding the mail client with the domain I am currently working on but it has nothing to do with Universal Email. I tried UE on a couple other domains with the same web host and it works great. Anyway, I just wanted to says thanks for all the help.
