DA Error

Running DA 2.0.6 on Windows 7 CS4.

It appears that installing WA HTML editor into CS4 has somehow corrupted Data Assist. (This could well be coincidental tho)

Now, when running DA wizard, I'm receiving the following

While executing OnLoad in WA_AppBuilder.htm, the following javascript error ocurred.

In file "WA_AppBuilder":
InitilaizeUI is not defined

Can anyone provide a fix?

Thanks, Paul.

Try following the steps outlined in the "Common Installation Issues" document:

Thanks Jimmy,

Tried variants of uninstall/reinstall and wincache delete, none unfortunately resolved the issue.

I've even tried creating new config folder with just a previous ver in installed.

So you've tried renaming the configuration and installing only DataAssist and the error still occurs? It could be related to Windows 7, since we have not started testing on that platform yet. Were you able to get it working on Windows 7 before installing HTML Editor?

Jimmy,

Yes, I have this running on another instance of Windows 7 where the editor is not installed.

Try uninstalling both extensions and installing HTML editor first before installing DataAssist to see if the HTML editor being installed afterwards is causing the issue.

I un-installed both extensions, then..

1. Installed HTML Editor 1st then DA
2. Uninstalled both again
3. Installed DA on its own.

Both tests failed to resolve the initial problem.

Screenshot of error dialogue attached.

It appears that your configuration folder may have been corrupted. Here is a post that explains how you would get rid of the corruption:
showpost.php?p=12293&postcount=2

Try those steps and repeat the above installs and see if the error still occurs.

Jimmy,

I tried exactly as you suggested.

Unfortunately, this did not resolve the initial issue.

After renaming the configuration folder, which extensions did you install? Are the other extensions still working as expected?
