hiding the info bubble on load

hiding the info bubble on load

Hi,

Is there a way of hiding the info window bubble of the default address when the map loads? - it currently hides lots of other makers (I'm using multiple address from a recordset) and I'd prefer if it were turned off by default unless a user clicked the marker.

I'm using ASP if that helps.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I tried doing a search for "marker_0_0.openInfoWindowHtml" (in wagmp_map_1.asp) but found no matches (as suggested in the other post). Is it because I'm using multiple addresses from a database recordset? because I do have entries such as:

if('address_0_<%=CStr(rsLocations_1_0_repeat_index)%>' == 'address_0_0')
marker_0_<%=CStr(rsLocations_1_0_repeat_index)%>.openInfoWindowHtml(address_0_<%=CStr(rsLocations_1_0_repeat_index)%>.infowindowtext);

(where rsLocations is the name of my recordset)

Thanks

Yes, those lines should be commented, the syntax is slightly different because you are using a recordset.

most likely you could search for just:
openInfoWindowHtml

to find the lines that need to be commented.

Thanks, that did the trick.
