Windows 7
Any word on the compatibility of WA extensions with Windows 7? It's been almost a month... certainly you know something?

I haven'to used all of the WA extensions, but I have been running Windows 7 Professional (32 bit) with DWCS4 for a few weeks now and haven't noticed anything unusual.
(key extensions used in the last couple of weeks include dataassist, security assist, css sculptor and html editor)
We have not discovered any bugs specifically related to Windows 7, nor have any been reported.
I've been using windows 7 for about 3 weeks now. I haven't encountered any problems with the extensions I've used. Either WebAssists or others.
The problem that was experienced in DreamWeaver itself however is still there. This is nothing to do with extensions at all but with DW itself. In Vista and now still in Win 7, there is a problem with defining paths to folders using the DW folder icon to browse to it. It always falsl one short of the folder you want.
Anyway, as I say that's not extension specific, it happens when you define a site for example.
So far WebAssist has the thumbs up from me as far as win7 compatibility is concerned.
That's good to know John and Ray. The 'falling one folder short' issue is a real pain. Some times you have to create a new folder inside the one you want to select just so you can select something. I wonder what corporate idiot came up with that.I get a cold chill every time I see a notification that windows update has new updates to install.
Adobe is aware of that issue. They say it is really a problem with windows, but they have created a fix they allowed us to beta test that addresses the problem, but I believe they haven't released yet.
They will most likely be providing an update to address that issue soon... Unfortunately we don't have the right to distrubute it publicly.
Now that I'm I'm aware of it, it's not such a big deal. It's during that period when you're not aware and then wonder why things are not working correctly. So the more the word is spread...
Good to know a fix is coming.
