Checkout Wizzard OrderDetails Bindings

While setting up the bindings for Step 2 of 2: Store order details in database, for the orderdetails table, with the latest eCart, I incountered the following DW message when trying to continue to the next step:

"You must set the value of the column specified as the Unique ID."

I belive that it is refering to the automaticly generated unique row ID for the DetailsID column in schema orderdetails. All of the examples and doucments that I have found show the first column value empty.

DetailsID
DetailOrderID <?php echo((isset($_SESSION["cartname_OrderID"]))......

Please clarify what should be entered or if this is a bug. Thank you.

Well, I can answer this question myself and maybe if someone else has runs into the same problem this entry might help give some ideas of what to look for.

1. In the orderdeails table, the checkmark for autoincrimenting the OrderID column must be set. I have noticed that sometimes when editing/adding to the table this checkmark has sometimes unchecked itself.

2. When selecting the orderdetails table, the Order ID selected should be DetailOrderID. The instructions and examples show this.

Tables: orderdetails
Order ID: DetailOrderID

In step one of the store order details server behavior you should be choosing the detail order id as the unique id column. Then on step two where it is asking you for a value for this column you can either use the order session variable that looks like this:

php:
$_SESSION["cartname_OrderID"]

You would need to use your cart name in place of the text for this.
