I have Windows 7.

I have the same problem.

Windows 7 - 32 bit
4GB Ram
100GB Free H/Drive Space
Firewall disabled
Anti-Virus Disabled


Any ideas?

Can you give more details?


When does DataAssist hang? On opening the DataAssist Wizard? while going from one page of the wizard to another? while creating the pages?

In your site definition, are you using a local testing server or a remote testing server?
