Recurring Events

I am looking to create a basic calendar where events will be added using Data Assist.

I want to give the user the option of creating repeating events.

They would be Daily, Weekly or Monthly and would start from the date of the current entry with a finish date for the series to end.

I am OK with creating the basic form to submit the data, but have not looked into recurring events.

Any pointers on where I should start would be gratefully received.

I think that if we had a detailed example interaction from the perspective of the user it will help to create a better understanding of how you would like this to work and what the requirements are.

When you are talking about events in a db you would usually have a single date or a starting and ending date, please describe a little more about the interaction that you would like to experience and we will try to help you with whatever we can.
