For UK Developers (Shipping)

What (if any) shipping API's have you integrated into eCart ?

FedEx and UPS supports UK. And our current implementation in eCart should work for both shipping providers. Please let us know if you come across any issue.

Dani,

FedEx does not fully support the UK I am afraid, I got this reply from FedEx when I inquired about UK shipping:

I am sorry to inform you that at this time there are no Web Services available that provide domestic UK rating. We are trying to have this setup as soon as possible but we have no further information on it at this time.

and my client would rather not use UPS because of service issues with them.

It seems that they do support UK since they do have UK website:

ukservices/

I will do some more research.

Thanks.

I know :-(

UK shipping seems to be very poorly supported except for UPS

What about DHL? DHL stopped US support, but should work for UK.

Ray,

I'll check with my client if they have a DHL account, the problem is that where they are situated there is not a lot of choice of carriers.

I see. What were they hoping to use? I can see if we can get it added to eCart or powerstore sometime in the future.
