Store Summary/Details on Submit

Thread began 11/10/2009 12:30 pm by simon167250 | Last modified 11/11/2009 2:15 pm by simon167250 | 1411 views | 4 replies |

Store Summary/Details on Submit

My confirm page currently only stores order details correctly if 'any form post' is selected as the behaviour. If "Button: Submit_order pressed" is selected, the purchaser is directed to the payment gateway, but no order details are stored.

The problem is, if a customer clicks the 'Modify Information' button and goes back to amend their details, a database error results as follows:

"The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again."

Any idea why the store is not working on the button press?

Kind regards,
Simon

When you change the trigger to button pressed, you will also need to change the trigger on the other server behaviors. You will need to relaunch the store summary and store order details server behavior and change the trigger as well.

Not Storing Cart on Submit

Still not working I'm afraid. the trigger code is changed to "if (cStr(Request.Form("Submit_order.x")) <> "") then..." for all behaviours (for a list see attached image) and it's not storing either the summary or detail under this trigger (or any other than any form post).

I set these up using the wizard IIRC - it was some time ago. Any help greatly appreciated. I hadn't realised that customers would have been getting an error if they visited this page twice for all this time.

Many thanks,
Simon
