Ian

Just purchased Menu Writer 2. I cant download it

Hi,

I've just purchased CSS Menu Writer 2 and I cant download it from the web site.

When I click on the download link under Extensions I get the download box appear in IE and then it just waits, and waits and then times out with an error message stating:

Internet Explorer was not able to open this site. The requested site is unavailable.

Not a good start :-(

Cheers
Ian

Hi Ian

Try Firefox to download the extension.
I've had the same problem with IE7.

Greetings

If you post a support incident they can arrange to get you the file using some other method. Are you able to download anything? My usual suggestion is to try another browser, but it appears you have tried two already.

Downloading Mystery Solved, I think

I had expected the download to be right after I purchased it.

However, am seeing now that it is to be done in steps, found under the Menu Writer Downloads.
I suppose the software is the .mxp extensions file, after which the supporting files are downloaded.

This is a different way than I have ever seen; learned something new!

We have (just a couple of hours ago) updated our support system. Now rather than suggesting you submit an incident, we will submit an incident for you when appropriate.

This way we can use the forums as a central channel for support and can stop sending people to multiple places for help when it isn't necessary. Hopefully this will increase forum content, traffic, and also maintain the benefits of the private support incident system.
