Help with installing powerstore start to finish

Hello, ive just purchased powerstore2 and trying to follow the instructions in( getting started-setting up your mysql database) on installing the software, so far ive found the sql file and pasted in the query box of phpadmin i see the table under the structure tab then it says :
1.
Using the MySQL Query Browser, connect to your MySQL Server.
2.
From the Schemata panel, select the database you intend to add the new database table to.
3.
Choose File > Open Script.
4.
Navigate to the .sql file you wish to import.
5.
Click Open.
6.
Select Execute.

is this process an alternative to the first steps ive completed or additional steps and also which sql file do i import and where exactly do i find it? and and also some pointers as to what to do after these steps, ive read the pdf's but not exactly sure where to get and put many of these files im being prompted to do..thanks in advance

the .sql file is located in the Database folder and it is called store.sql.

Yes, you could either browse to the sql file or you can copy and paste the code.

Once you have you have created your database, you will need to modify your connection settings and then your global settings which are specified in step 2 & 3 of "Set up your MYSQL database" section.
