How to get rid of head & body tags.

This didn't start ocurring until after I upgrade. My content is in the body tag and everytime someone enter something in the field...these tags get thrown. I took off "auto format" and "clean WYSIWYG code" thinking that might help as the help file explains what these so I see it clearly as mud.

Auto format: Checking this box enables the editor to automatically format the source code when the form is submitted to ensure that it is stored appropriately in the database.

Clean WYSIWYG code: When selected, the HTML Editor will attempt to clean up the code that is inserted into the editor to be as standards compliant as possible.

Merry Christmas.

Forgot to show you the tags...

<html dir="ltr">
<head>
<title></title>
</head>
<body>
</body>
</html>

I am already in the body tag so this just goofs up everything.

Edit the HTML Editor instance, on the General Tab un-check the Full page editing option.

from tthe help documentation:
Full page editing: When checked, configures the editor to handle content for entire pages, rather than fragments of pages.

Thanks Jason...appreciate it.

You guys would save yourself some time by writing down all these problems or questions and add them the help file.

"from the help documentation:

handle content for entire page???

rather than fragments of pages???

Now, I am no professional but those statement are vague...where the info on setting tags for the page such as html, header and body tags.....

Just a thought to save you another question a few weeks down the line...

Great product though....has some quirks but overall...would buy again.
