Include a message for seller on eCart confirm page with PayPal

Is it possible to include a text area where the purchaser can leave a message on the confirm page created by eCart rather than when on the PayPal payment pages?

Thanks.

Yes, you can do this. just make sure the text area is in a new form.

Thanks for that, so can I make it so that comments within this text field appear within the email that the PayPal system sends to the seller, as though it was added in the PayPal checkout process itself? Would I need to label this text field something specifically?

I'm sorry, I misunderstood your initial question.

I thought you want ed to use this text area to send the purchaser a message using Universal Email, not have it sent in the email that paypal generates

Do not create a seperate form, in the form that sends the information to paypal, add a hidden form element:
<input type="hidden" name="on0" value="message" />

Then create a text area:
<textarea name="os0" cols="30" rows="8"></textarea>

Where exactly is "the form that sends the information to paypal"? Is it in the confirm.php page? Checkout.php? Some other file? I wanted to put the special instruction box on the cart page. I also would like to send the info in the email receipt from universal email. Do I just add the same text field in the confirm_WAUE_HTML_WA_Universal_Email_2.php file? Is that for a different post?
Thanks
