How to add Subcription product in Ecart

How to create a product that is a subscription in ecart4. I want to setup up a subscription product in my ecart. Basically the user will buy 2 products:

1. Product 1 eg. ebook

2. Product 2 a Monthly Subscription to a site via paypal.

is the Subscription going to be a recurring payment or a one time payment. If so, currently eCart does not support recurring payments.

I need recurring payments handled by paypal. I don't understand why that is difficult to add to ecart the user pays once in the cart for a subscription item then afterwards is billed monthly via paypal.

What about powerstore does that do recurring subscriptions?

No, neither eCart ort Power have built in support for Paypal recurring Payments.

You would need to refer to the paypal api documentation to hand code recurring payments with Paypal.

PayPal has a seperate API for Recurring payments from that used for PayPal Direct Payments.
