Validation Toolkit Activation

Hi,

I've just upgraded to CS4 and it's asking me to activate all my extensions again. However, I cant activate the Validation Toolkit. It accepts my serial number and when I press activate I get a red error message in the yellow box, but its too quick for me to read it or note it down.

Is there a problem with the activation server?

Thanks
Ian

There shouldn't be. Try resetting your activations on the webassist web site and see if that fixes the problem.

Hi Ray,

I've reset the activations and I'm still having problems. Activation of some of the other products I own was fine the other day but nothing will activate now. I've even tried it on a different internet connection but nothing :-(

I can't even tell you what the error is because it flicks on and off that quickly its impossible to read it.

I've just uninstalled Validation Toolkit and reinstalled it to see if that would make a difference but nothing.

Also, some of the others arent now activating such as Universal Email.

How strange!

Another update...

I have just activated Cookies Toolkit and CSS Advisor no problem at all so I know its not my machine or internet connection that is the problem.

Please help - I need Validation Toolkit and Universal Email to finish off a job I'm working on.

Ok, I've sorted it.

A combination of removing the extensions, reinstalling the extensions, deleting the MACfilecache.dat and then removing, reinstalling, removing and reinstalling again seems to have done the trick!

Cheers
