cant even install latest extension

removed last pro maps extension, installed new one, now as soon as I click on the pro map icon, an empty dialogue box appears ( it should have the splash page/serial no validation?)
then DW stalls and closes. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled, reinstalled, now it's just getting tedious...anybody know if theres a config file that will, if deleted, remove any remnants of previous extensions?

Well, you're not the only one. I have the same problem. Deleted the extension and installed the previous version - works fine again. Lets wait for the next revision...!?

Have a look at this and see if it might be your problem. Any port in a storm!

outstanding...I'd tried to rename Startup and Floaters with no luck, just tried this and all is working AOK.

Deleting the winfilecache.dat solved the problem...
After deleting I installed the extension again and started DW (the startup took a little bit longer), but now everything works 100%.

I too apprechiate the hint!

only problem is that I'm trying to display details from a database so I'm getting a random number showing or not, sometimes just bouncing back to palo alto map...I have tried with addresses and also with latitude and longitude, both have same issues, was hoping that new version would amend a possible Google server request limit mentioned in another post, but can't get new V1.4 to install. so fustrating
