dreamweaver stopped working

dreamweaver stopped working

I had just finished the check-out wizard and the universal email started and after filling everything out the wizard was working and then dreamweaver CS3 stopped working. The message was that if dreamweaver is the default XML editor then it was the problem. I checked my preferences and there isn't a preference set for a XML editor. The checkout button isn't working I guess because everything didn't finish getting installed. What should I do now?
thanks

I'm a little confused on the error, can you post a screen shot of the error you received so I can see the full error text?

try deleting the checkout pages that where created and running the checkout wizard again, if you get the same error, send a screen shot so I can better understand the problem.

also, if you could provide some details on your System, such as OS Version and Dreamweaver Version, that would be helpful.

dreamweaver not working

this is the first message box after getting the message that "dreamweaver stopped working". When I highlight something it causes everything to shut down. I tried to run Ecart again this time everything went through ok but dreamweaver is still shutting down when I open some pages, highlight something or anything. This Ecart naturally was the last thing I needed to do before going live and now I can't even use dreamweaver because of this terrible problem. One of your techs may need to contact me to remotely take over my computer to solve this because it is too much to keep going back and forth and I can't tell you exactly what is going on except I have never had this problem before. You guys are good and responsive so I know you will fix this problem but my total project is now on hold.
thanks
