Advanced File Manager

I have previously used ajaxfilemanager, and I am evaluating using that vs KFM. One thing holding me back on KFM (which would obviously be convenient since it is already integrated with the extension) is that any time I double click a file to set it as the link target, I have to "Allow Access" to get the link to go to the fckeditor dialogue box.

Any solution for this. I toyed with trying to update KFM to the latest version, but that isn't going so well. Too many errors.

Also, please take a look at ajaxfilemanager, if you have not already. I think it is a bit superior to KFM.

Lastly, I was looking at a default install vs what I have customized and found that, unlike just installing fckeditor into a site, using the WA extension without the file manager does not display the browse server button, but does still show the upload tab. The upload tab reads unavailable.

If the default configuration were set to:

FCKConfig.LinkBrowser = false ;
FCKConfig.LinkBrowserURL = FCKConfig.BasePath + 'filemanager/browser/default/browser.php?Connector=' + encodeURIComponent( FCKConfig.BasePath + 'filemanager/connectors/' + _FileBrowserLanguage + '/connector.' + _FileBrowserExtension ) ;
FCKConfig.LinkBrowserWindowWidth = FCKConfig.ScreenWidth * 0.7 ; // 70%
FCKConfig.LinkBrowserWindowHeight = FCKConfig.ScreenHeight * 0.7 ; // 70%

FCKConfig.ImageBrowser = false ;
FCKConfig.ImageBrowserURL = FCKConfig.BasePath + 'filemanager/browser/default/browser.php?Type=Image&Connector=' + encodeURIComponent( FCKConfig.BasePath + 'filemanager/connectors/' + _FileBrowserLanguage + '/connector.' + _FileBrowserExtension ) ;
FCKConfig.ImageBrowserWindowWidth = FCKConfig.ScreenWidth * 0.7 ; // 70% ;
FCKConfig.ImageBrowserWindowHeight = FCKConfig.ScreenHeight * 0.7 ; // 70% ;

FCKConfig.FlashBrowser = false ;
FCKConfig.FlashBrowserURL = FCKConfig.BasePath + 'filemanager/browser/default/browser.php?Type=Flash&Connector=' + encodeURIComponent( FCKConfig.BasePath + 'filemanager/connectors/' + _FileBrowserLanguage + '/connector.' + _FileBrowserExtension ) ;
FCKConfig.FlashBrowserWindowWidth = FCKConfig.ScreenWidth * 0.7 ; //70% ;
FCKConfig.FlashBrowserWindowHeight = FCKConfig.ScreenHeight * 0.7 ; //70% ;

FCKConfig.LinkUpload = false ;
FCKConfig.LinkUploadURL = FCKConfig.BasePath + 'filemanager/connectors/' + _QuickUploadLanguage + '/upload.' + _QuickUploadExtension ;
FCKConfig.LinkUploadAllowedExtensions = ".(7z|aiff|asf|avi|bmp|csv|doc|fla|flv|gif|gz|gzip|jpeg|jpg|mid|mov|mp3|mp4|mpc|mpeg|mpg|ods|odt|pdf|png|ppt|pxd|qt|ram|rar|rm|rmi|rmvb|rtf|sdc|sitd|swf|sxc|sxw|tar|tgz|tif|tiff|txt|vsd|wav|wma|wmv|xls|xml|zip)$" ; // empty for all
FCKConfig.LinkUploadDeniedExtensions = "" ; // empty for no one

FCKConfig.ImageUpload = false ;
FCKConfig.ImageUploadURL = FCKConfig.BasePath + 'filemanager/connectors/' + _QuickUploadLanguage + '/upload.' + _QuickUploadExtension + '?Type=Image' ;
FCKConfig.ImageUploadAllowedExtensions = ".(jpg|gif|jpeg|png|bmp)$" ; // empty for all
FCKConfig.ImageUploadDeniedExtensions = "" ; // empty for no one

FCKConfig.FlashUpload = false ;
FCKConfig.FlashUploadURL = FCKConfig.BasePath + 'filemanager/connectors/' + _QuickUploadLanguage + '/upload.' + _QuickUploadExtension + '?Type=Flash' ;
FCKConfig.FlashUploadAllowedExtensions = ".(swf|flv)$" ; // empty for all
FCKConfig.FlashUploadDeniedExtensions = "" ; // empty for no one

and the file baseCustomConfig.js were to instead read:

if (true) {FCKConfig.LinkBrowser = true ; FCKConfig.ImageBrowser = true ; FCKConfig.FlashBrowser = true ; FCKConfig.Plugins.Add('kfm');}

then file upload buttons and tabs are only enabled and visible when the check box to allow file management is checked.

I'm still playing around here, so this is just my observations so far...
