Sometime
sometimes

Hi,
I am finding that when I paste in text that sometimes the CMS will write the text wrapped in a
and sometimes wrapped in a
. Why is this? I would prefer a
to give me more control. Any pointers?
Thanks-

Good question, I have had that happen a few times also. I have noticed that it only happens to me when copy/pasting from word, and when from copy/pasting from another website. It never happens when I copy/paste from text document though.
I've actually been pasting plain text and it's been happening. I'm pasting the plain text out of bbedit.
If you are copying and pasting... even if it was plain text, my guess is that the the WYSIWYG editor will still encode based on some sort of algorithm... so it may be right... it may be wrong. Typically, the first thing I do after pasting is remove the formatting right away, anyway and then format however I want.
